Facebook Timeline: Coming Soon To a Page Near You

Facebook’s timeline layout for Pages will be here before you know it, maybe even tomorrow.  Are you ready?

This is how the timeline layout should look for Pages.

With the Facebook Media Conference happening tomorrow in NYC, the big announcement may be made during it.  What does this mean for you and your Page?

There is no need to worry about this new Facebook change. Here are some things to keep in mind when moving your page to the timeline layout:

  1. First, you can share more about your company’s history with your followers.
  2. The initial release will be tested with a small group first before being rolled out to everyone.
  3. In addition, with Google+ and Twitter releasing brand pages, changes were to be expected from Facebook too!
  4. Most importantly, with the release of timeline, each page will have its own cover photo, which will help the page be more distinctive than the old/current layout.

The best thing to do now is to be prepared for the layout change, as it is coming!

That is a good point!  Most people don’t like change, with every facebook change there has been some concern from users about what is different, but once everyone adjusts to the changes, they begin to have no problems with what is new.
